FOLS Christmas Party

Children and staff had such a fantastic time at the FOLS Christmas Party last night - there was dancing, Christmas crafting, a Christmas cinema, party food, the playing of fun party games, visits to Santa, tombolas, a raffle and festive singing from the choir.  And from all the fun and festivities, it looks like we have raised another £500 of profits for FOLS to benefit our whole school community! Here is what a few of the party-goers had to say...

"The best thing about the party was the yummy snacks

and watching 'Nativity' with all my friends."

(Isaac, Year 6)

"I like the different Christmas crafting we did -

I'd never made decorations like that before."

(Seth, Year 5)

"The children were, as always, so kind and caring towards one another and had so much fun together.  I think they also liked the novelty of being at school in the dark! "

(Mrs Barrick)

"I really liked singing with the choir -

it made me feel really PROUD to be at Loxley!"

(Caleb, Year 4)

"I liked all the energetic party games."

(Arlo, Year 5)

"The party games were so FUN!"

(Lily and Molly-Rose, Reception)

"I enjoyed having a go on the tombola and I won a prize!"

(Tia, Year 4)

"I KNOW Mrs Kemp enjoyed watching my dancing!"

(Lola, Year 5)

"I liked how happy everyone was."

(Tink Year 4)

"I loved the variety of activities we provided

to cater for all the children's different interests."

(Mrs Thackway)

"It was a great party - I just liked EVERYTHING about it!"

(Elysia, Reception)

Thank you to everyone involved in organising and running this year's party at a time when everyone is so busy and tired - you are all stars!
