What is the PE and Sports Premium?
The primary PE and Sports Premium funding was introduced in March 2013 to improve the provision of physical education and school sport in primary schools across England. The £150 million per year funding is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health, and Culture, Media and Sport (DfE, DH and DCMS). The funding is allocated directly to schools and is ring-fenced, meaning that it can only be spent on improving provision in PE and sport. Please view the report above to find out how we spend our allocated PE and Sports Premium funding and evidence its impact.
