A Warm Welcome

Welcome to Loxley Church of England Community Primary School

We are delighted to welcome you to the Loxley Church of England Community Primary School website!

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Loxley, just outside historic Stratford-upon-Avon, our small, nurturing, and inclusive school community offers a truly personalised learning experience. As the smallest primary school in Warwickshire, we pride ourselves on knowing every child as a unique and valued individual.

A school has existed in Loxley since the 1840s, with our current site in use since 1874. In 2024, we celebrated 150 years of education here—a proud milestone that reflects our rich heritage. Our school archives bring history to life, with fascinating stories from the World Wars, tales of coal fires in the hall, and pupils helping with harvests. These stories continue to inspire our current pupils, connecting them to the past and deepening their understanding of the world.

Rooted in Christian values, we work closely with our local church, St Nicholas, and celebrate the Christian calendar through visits and events. We welcome children of all faiths and backgrounds, supporting them to grow into thoughtful, respectful individuals.

Our small mixed-age classes and high adult-to-child ratios allow us to tailor a broad, engaging curriculum that responds to children’s interests. Learning here is fun, memorable, and designed to help every child thrive academically and emotionally in a safe, happy environment where children feel confident to explore, question and grow.

We are proud of our strong community links, with popular events like the Loxley Bonfire Night and Strawberry Fair continuing to bring families together each year.

Thank you for visiting our website—we hope it gives you a sense of the vibrant, caring, and inspiring place that Loxley truly is. We warmly invite you to come and see it for yourself.
