Craft Club – Creativity, Confidence & Fun!
We’re delighted to be launching our Spring Term 2 Craft Club – a fun, hands-on afterschool session designed to inspire creativity and imagination! Over the course of four exciting weeks, children will explore a variety of seasonal and themed craft activities including painting, collage, model-making, and mixed media projects. Each session is carefully planned to encourage creativity, develop fine motor skills, and build confidence – all while having lots of fun with friends.
Craft Club provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where children can:
- Express themselves creatively
- Learn new crafting techniques
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Take home beautiful handmade creations each week
All resources and materials are included, and sessions are led by supportive staff who love helping children bring their ideas to life.
Whether your child already loves arts and crafts or simply enjoys trying something new, Craft Club is a wonderful opportunity to unwind after the school day in a creative and positive space.
Crafting Club - All Welcome
We are delighted to invite children to join our exciting Board Games Club this term! Board Games Club is a fantastic opportunity for children to unwind after the school day while developing important life skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Through a variety of engaging and age-appropriate games, children will practise turn-taking, teamwork, strategic thinking and good sportsmanship — all while having lots of laughs with friends.
From fast-paced card games to thoughtful strategy challenges and classic favourites, there will be something for everyone. Whether your child enjoys friendly competition or cooperative team games, they’ll find plenty to enjoy.
Board games are a wonderful way to:
- Build social confidence
- Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Practise patience and resilience
- Strengthen friendships
Most importantly, it’s a chance for children to have fun, connect with others and experience the joy of playing together.
Construction Club - All Welcome
We are excited to invite children to join our Construction Club – a fun and engaging afterschool club where children work together to solve problems and build exciting projects.
In small groups, children take on different roles such as Engineer, Supplier and Builder, learning how to communicate clearly, listen to others, share ideas and work as a team. With supportive adult guidance, they develop confidence, negotiation skills and collaborative problem-solving in a structured but enjoyable environment. Using a range of motivating resources such as LEGO, marble runs den building and more, children will follow plans or create their own designs – building something new each session or working towards a larger project over several weeks.
Construction Club is a fantastic way for children to strengthen social skills, teamwork and resilience – all while having lots of fun!

Loxley Spring Term 2 After School Clubs – Fill in form
Golden Mile (Y2-6): A running club where children will aim to run as far as possible in 20 minutes. We will count up the mileage completed and see how far we can get, both individually and collectively, over the year.
School Choir (Y2-6): Our school choir sings a wide range of songs throughout the year, creating a sense of fun, enjoyment, and musical expression. Through singing together, children build confidence and teamwork while exploring different styles of music. The choir performs at a variety of school events, including our Harvest celebration and the school Nativity, sharing their hard work and enthusiasm with the whole school community.
