Loxley C of E Community Primary School has established a link with Common Faith Educational Complex, Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa.

This African school began its life under a tree in the village, in the hopes of providing a quality education for children in the local community.  The school now has a building and over 150 children who relish the opportunity to attend to receive an education. 

Miss Dickens (our Acorn Class Teacher on Thursdays and Fridays) visited this school as volunteer teachers to help the children to learn about basic health and hygiene, and to help the teachers to learn some new teaching strategies.  Miss Dickens has now helped to establish a penpal link between Common Faith Educational Complex, Kumasi, and our own school in order to help our Loxley children to learn about the lives of children living in other parts of our world.
