Introduction
At Loxley our cohorts are always small with a PAN (Pupil Admission Number) of 42. This means that one child may count for a very large percentage at our school, making measuring and analysing our data in percentages much less meaningful than in larger schools. Due to this, at Loxley we track children's progress and attainment levels throughout our school as individuals, rather than cohorts. The small nature of our school also means that our KS2 data is not reported in national performance tables, though individual pupil performance is of course still shared with parents as well as being used to inform teachers' planning to ensure the best possible progress for all.
Due to our small cohorts, it is important to note that the data from year to year can vary a great deal, the performances of each individual having a huge impact in terms of percentages. Despite this statistical disadvantage, our pupils still perform extremely well when compared with local and national figures and we are always very proud of their achievements. Â
